What Is Shilajit?
Shilajit, from the Karakoram

Shilajit is a natural mineral resin found high in the mountains of Asia. It forms slowly, over centuries, as plant matter and minerals compress within the rock. In the warmer months it seeps from crevices at altitude, where it is collected by hand.
What it is
A dense, tar-like resin composed of fulvic and humic compounds together with a broad spectrum of naturally occurring minerals and trace elements. Composition varies from source to source, which is why we publish our independent laboratory reports in full — see our Lab Reports & Certification.
How ours is prepared
Our shilajit is collected in the Karakoram range, then purified using only cold spring water and sunlight, over six months. Never heated. Nothing added, nothing taken away.
A long tradition
Shilajit has been collected and taken in the mountain regions of Asia for many centuries, and it appears in classical Ayurvedic texts. We prepare it the traditional way, and we let the lab reports speak for what is in the jar.
